UNIX/Linux scripting (Perl, Korn Shell, Bourne Shell) and the ability to design and write operating system and platform utilities.
Expert technical knowledge of Linux System Administration.
Deep understanding of network/distributed computing environment concepts: host routing tables, fundamental TCP/IP protocols, DNS, e.t.c is a must
Good Understanding of LDAP, NFS, SSH, SMTP, SFTP, SNMP, SSL concepts.
