IT Job Title: Desktop Support Analyst
Operate the central IT Support Help Desk.
Provide first level support for PC Users.
Troubleshoot and resolve User problems either by telephone advice or visits to User workplaces
Install, upgrade and maintain PC hardware/software Maintain documentation related to IT Problem Management and Technical Library
Coordinate equipment repairs with external suppliers
Receive User Problem/Error reports (normally by telephone) and using set down procedures, record, allocate for action and follow up.
Provide Users with telephone assistance related to use of hardware desktop software and computer applications.
Attend to User problems and resolve PC, network, systems access and other issues by telephone or visit to the User work location.
Carry out minor repairs to computer hardware .
Coordinate repair of hardware items, quotations and invoices with third party suppliers.
